Thanks for your kind words, Richard! And yes we did open for Diller— in Brooklyn, in 1981 I think it was. I remember being backstage after we played, listening to her rattle off what seemed like a million jokes, one after the other. At first we were just laughing, but pretty soon we were looking at each other in utter amazement— how anybody could remember that many jokes. What a professional she was. Those were the good ol' days.
